Valley Yarns Glacial is an understated open-front
women’s cardigan knit in Southampton with yarn held double throughout. This
lovely stockinette stitch sweater has a fabulous drape that flatters any shape
and is stunning dressed up or down. Glacial is knit flat in one piece from the
bottom up to the armholes and then divided for back and fronts. The sleeves are
worked down from the dropped shoulders. Light and airy, Valley Yarns
Southampton is a plush and super-soft blend of mohair and silk with a fabulous
halo! Southampton can be worked at multiple gauges and with one to three
strands, for fabrics ranging from lacy and open to more substantial.
